The weather of Baños Ecuador

The magnificent city of Banos is located at the end of the Andean region and is an Access road to the Amazon region. Therefore, it results in a variety of microclimates originating, being an advantage in terms of landscapes, because you can constantly observe the green mountains. The city is located at the foothills of the Tungurahua volcano at a level of 1826 meters high.

From September to March, we enjoy several bright days that have a temperature in an interval of 18 and 30 degrees Celsius. As for the months of April and May there are various temperatures which encompass rainy and bright days in the same way temperatures of 16 to 25 degrees Celsius, months of April and May there are various temperaturas. In contrast, in the months of June to August, we have a climate with a slightly lower temperature. that is, there are many rainy days and the temperature varies between 14 to 20 degrees Celsius. However, on certain days the bright sun can be found throughout the day over the course of these months, during the month of August you can find mixed temperatures between temperatures of 15 to 25 degrees Celsius and some sunny, windy, rainy even cloudy.

Therefore the climate is in the middle which allows us to perform different outdoor activities.

Take advantage of sunny days for activities such as walking, cycling, horseback riding in turn performing adventure sports, such as canopy, tibetan bridges, cable skateboarding, rafting, canyoning. In relation to rainy days you can still participate in canopy, canyoning, tibetan bridges among other activities.

On the other hand, time-forecasting programs publish inaccurate information because antennas are located in the upper parts of the mountains, where colder temperatures are recorded due to the height than in the city. It never freezes as some information reports and snow never falls! It is worth warning not to use the weather forecast.
